The tools and techniques to refuse

While we often feel pressured to comply and do as others ask, we have the right to refuse.

Being assertive is essential in becoming less anxious and is a powerful commitment to your mental wellbeing.

Assertiveness training provides the tools and techniques to say ‘no’ to something while respecting the other person.

It shouldn’t be aggressive but must be clear and convincing.

Remaining open and being willing to learn can help you hear the other person’s needs, reach compromises, and continue your journey to your goals.

Why not give some of the techniques a try.
